Digital Africa offers each startup in its portfolio access to tools and a network of experts to support their growth and impact. In this context, Digital Africa is building a pool of fintech experts to assist its early-stage African tech startups (pre-seed and seed) operating across 18 priority countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Uganda, Zambia, Togo, Cameroon, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique, Sudan, and the DRC. Experts may be French, English, and/or Portuguese-speaking. Although fintech in Africa is growing rapidly, startups face complex challenges relating to regulation, business models, technology, and scaling. To address these challenges, Digital Africa is assembling a pool of fintech experts across a wide range of domains: legal, business, technology, regulatory, strategic, and operational. These experts will provide targeted support and help startups navigate an ever-changing ecosystem.
